My other serious fix is reading magazines. Any kind of magazine, but especially health magazines, Real Simple, food magazines, and gossip/entertainment magazines. It's funny because all I do is read for school and work and research, but what I'd most like to read is mindless, feel-good, picture-filled, info-packed magazines. To "help" with my habit, I started a 3-ring binder a few years ago and if I HAD to keep an article, idea, pictures, web link, etc. I could tear out the page I needed, archive it, and toss/recycle the rest of the magazine.
But then you get one huge binder of stuff and every single page is interesting. So now I need to act on a few of my finds to clear the clutter. No more good intentions, I want results. And I'll share some of my favorites here and save you the trouble of buying the issues yourself...
There will be a few categories to help:
- to buy
- to do
- to cook
