Graduation

I don't know how I would have gotten this far through school without such supportive family and friends and my and amazing husband. I know that there have been many (many) days that school has made me a less fun companion, but those closest to me put up with me even on the bad days. Last semester I think I did less than 10% of my usual chores, but Derrick more than picked up my slack and helped me stay at the computer so I could complete my thesis on time.

There's quite a bit left to go, I know, but I feel like I have finally made some ground and look forward to knocking another degree out in the next couple of years. Thank you to Meg and Christie and the IO gals for girls' nights, to my sis for listening and laughing, to my parents for being there whenever I need and to my husband for keeping me fed, sane, smiling, and feeling like I can do anything for the last few semesters.

I'm ready for the next round.

And by the way... how adorable are the graduation cap cupcakes my mom made? Strawberry cupcakes, cream cheese frosting with a cap on top (even a yellow tassle!)

I will always be here for you! I feel your school pains. You have made some amazing accomplishments over the years and it is nothing to be less than thrilled about! Nice work Melissa on the cupcakes, I heard all about them. Wish I could have been there to help celebrate. Come to California and we will celebrate on the beach with mimosas! :) Miss you!

Congratulations on such an amazing achievement. You give me hope and inspiration to keep pressing ahead.
