Mayonnaise Rolls

I shared the gift of my Grandma Ann's recipes in an earlier post. Since I got the recipes, I've been going through them so my sister and I can share them. I've made a banana bread I found, a broccoli casserole, and tonight, mayonnaise rolls. I needed a quick, easy bread or roll to go with the beef stew I made. The beef stew was easy but these rolls were ridiculously simple. If you don't like mayonnaise, you'll still love the rolls, you can't taste mayo. And for the 8 big rolls I made, there's only 1 tablespoon of mayo - and I used LITE. Here's the handwritten recipe - it's too easy NOT to try. Trust me.

Mayonnaise Rolls
1 and 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 heaping Tblsp. mayonnaise
1 and 1/2 tsp. sugar

Thin with milk to pouring consistency.
Grease muffin tin. Bake until brown (about 10 min) at 450 degrees

* Notes: I used light mayonnaise and skim milk, they turned out great. I also added flax seed, an extra tablespoon of Splenda, and sprinkled a little shredded cheese on top of each roll before baking. So soft, simple, quick, and yummy! Let me know how they turn out.
