Derrick and I celebrated our one year last week. We were married at sunset in Destin, FL August 19, 2006. Now we've passed the one year mark. This time last year we were getting back from Jamaica, tanned, happy, and making the transition back to reality. It's been one heck of a year. We've traveled to Jamaica, Hawaii, and Italy. Derrick graduated, Megan is pregnant, and I'm nearing the end of my school days (and so is my sis!). We are so, so lucky to have had the fun, good health, and good times we've had over the past year and want to be THANKFUL for every moment. We celebrated the one year mark with a trip to northwest AR to visit friends, meet with potential job folks, and visit wineries. The next day we shared champagne and our one-year old cake which was WONDERFUL. I couldn't believe it. The night ended with dinner at the Rendezvous and a visit to the Peabody Rooftop at sunset. Happy one year, Dr. Pierce. I'm so proud to be your Mrs.!
