Turkey Sausage

The only ingredient I didn't have beforehand was the fennel. It's about $3 and in the baking aisle with the other spices. I promise you'll make this recipe enough to use it again.

Turkey Sausage

Mix together in a bowl:
1 lb turkey (there's a great 1 lb 'tube' of 97/3 turkey meat at Wal-Mart's, less than $1.50)
2 tsp Fennel, whole seed
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes (I add 2 to 3 times more for extra spice)
1/8 tsp ground pepper
1/4 cup cold water

If you have an hour before dinner, put mixture in the refrigerator to let the flavors mix. I cook the meat on the skillet, leaving it in large chunks to put on the pizza.
