Like the "Simpsonizer," M&Ms has a great ad campaign - Become an MM. If you're a fan of entertainment magazines like me, you may have seen famous faces in M&M form. One example: The (M&M) Adams Family introducing new dark chocolate M&Ms. I think it's so creative
and decided to once again make create characters of Derrick (with cell phone) and myself (camera). It even helps you name the candies. So, may I introduce to you "Dr. Steel The Great" and "Duchess Cupcake A La Mode".At this point, I feel like I should mention that I do have a life beyond computer play. It's just not as fun.
As I was researching the M&Ms campaign, I found this blog, "Confessions of a Chocoholic". The blog focuses on marketing campaigns and ideas from chocolate products, cookies, and other sweets. It's an old blog but a fun read. One interesting note, the blog was written in 2005 and mentions the Star Wars M&M campaign that also introduces the dark chocolate M&M (the dark side, ha). Funny that the2007 Adam's Family is "re-introducing" this product as if it's a new concept. I know that happens, just rarely notice. By the way, if you click on the Star Wars link, the first half is boring, skip to the fun characters about half way through.
