10 things I would rather do than work on my thesis all night (again):
1. Blog (can this be a verb?)
2. Play Text Twist on Yahoo games (it's great)
3. Waste brain cells reading PerezHilton
4. Start a new painting or art project
5. Watch a very girly movie. Very girly.
6. Read a book. I haven't ever been a book reader but since I've been in grad school, I've read more required text than I'd ever imagined possible... and the concept of reading something not related to science sounds like a good idea. Don't get me wrong, I love a good research article, but books have pretty covers and you can read them on a beach and Oprah gets excited about them. My first pick once I find time was suggested by my friend and fellow blogger, Allison: Eat, Pray, Love
7. Drink a glass of Cabernet
8. Read a magazine
9. Continue plotting ways that Derrick and I could live in Italy for an extended period of time. So far my ideas have involved getting ridiculously rich before I'm 30 or promoting Derrick as the most in-demand international optometrist around...
10. Sleep. I love sleep.
