Sitting at the breakfast table, watching sideways snow cover our ginkgo tree.
Just turned in my (hopefully) last thesis draft. I can defend this month and as long as all goes well... I can graduate. I'll believe it when I hear my name called in May. Until then it's just pretend.
I started this blog when I started my thesis and I think with my defense just around the corner, this is a good point to sign off. My job and school keep me at the computer all day long. And while blogging has been a fun way to share recipes, keep up with friends, and write something other than schoolwork, I think I need to "unplug" a few things right now.

jules, i will really miss reading your blog while you go on furlough. i hope you will re-join the blogging world when time & desire permit. your posts always gave me a hearty chuckle(but the bob barker video & the choir story resulted in a full-blown belly laugh) or made me think about trying something new. :-) love you very much, friend. there is no one like you.
