We spent Labor Day weekend on the lake with Meg and Joe. Several friends got to come and we were so excited to spend a couple of days relaxing on the water and catching up with each other. We celebrated Megan's birthday with ice cream cake and homemade pizza and spent our mornings with Luke and the puppies (see video). It looks like we spent half our time with Luke and the dogs, but really we just had the camera out for every encounter. And it made him so happy. Daphne handles babies and kiddies pretty well, but sometimes she's so quiet you have to make sure SHE'S doing okay! Roz is more timid, so we'll have to work on her playdates before we can capture it on film.
Luke also started crawling just a day or two before we came so I included one of his first crawls in the film. It's so neat to see him learn how to move each limb as he heads for a toy, even if he falls a few times en route. For 3 minutes of cuddly pups and Master Luke, click play:
