Reunion

It's 37 days until my high school reunion. I've fortunate enough that I've gotten to plan and coordinate most of it, which makes me miss (as usual) my old event planning days. It's been fun to find old friends on facebook, but I know it'll be a blast to see people in person and hear what's going on with this group that I mainly remember as 18-year-olds.

Some classmates aren't interested in getting together - they've told me so rather bluntly. And other people are dealing with some emotional issues that any anniversary or reunion might bring about - they've told me so rather subtly. I'm genuinely interested in people's stories so I enjoy being the contact point for RSVPs and info. Not for drama or gossip's sake, I just appreciate the uniqueness of my friends, classmates, co-workers, and colleagues and learning new things, learning about these people makes me feel good.

One classmate started an online boutique, KapichE, with one of her friends and I had to buy a ring and a clutch after I found her online store. She picks every piece herself and the prices are very reasonable.

There's lots more to learn, I can't wait to see everyone.
