Grandma's Secret Recipe

Grandma H makes the best sausage/cheese dip I've ever had. Well, she also makes the best meat loaf, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, sweet tea, and desserts I've ever had.

Anyways, she's made this dip for my Uncle Eric for years and years. In fact, when Eric's friends opened a restaurant in town, they added Grandma's dip to the appetizer menu, "Schultz's Mom's Dip," or something like that (Schultz is a nickname).

Well, when Grandma had to make some dip for a party last month, I decided to grab the recipe while I had the chance. It's similar to lots of sausage dip recipes, but you know nothing is as good as Grandma recipes. I'll write it out as she said it, so it's not formal but you can piece it together. Perfect for a summer grill out or football nights (coming soon!!)

Jules' Grandma's Dip
1 lb. hamburger (cook with onion and drain)
1 lb. sausage (or spicy sausage)
1 onion
2 lb. Velveeta
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of chicken (optional, Grandma doesn't use it)
1 can green chilis
1 can Rotel (or hot Rotel)
1 jar salsa (also can be hot, measure to taste)
