In Disney theme park jargon, "101 means the attraction is non-operations due to technical difficulties. When the attraction goes 102, it's ready for guests.. so technically post "102" needs to be even better!! ha!"
You're right, Kendra. It's post 102, back in business and ready for guests. And in honor of new beginnings, a few of "my" favorite summer things. Yes, like Oprah. But not.
* Baja Bob's Sugar-Free Drink Mixes: I have only tried the margarita mix, but it's great. You can have yummy beach-side drinks, but without all the added sugar and calories. Even better blended. Also, it's only sold in certain cities so check here to enter your zip and find the nearest location.
* Feta & Spinach stuffed Turkey/Chicken Sausage: Found at Sam's or Costco. Only 110 calories per sausage. I think they're best charred on the grill.
* Victoria's Secret Terry Drawstring Pant & Hoodie: I have this in pink, it's perfect for cool nights, running errands, or lounging on the weekend. It's just cute enough that I look like I'm trying, and a ponytail is appropriate.
* Our attic fan. Last month Derrick was working in the attic and noticed that our attic fan was unplugged (I thought it was broken). Now, we use it every day to draw in fresh, cool air.
* My favorite eyeliner is Clinique's Cream Shaper for Eyes. For anyone with hazel-ish eyes like me, the Starry Plum is a great choice.
* Music-wise, I think Jack Johnson will still be the bulk of my playlist, especially his new album Sleep Through The Static. It's not as upbeat as previous albums, but it's worth getting to know. Research why the album is more melancholy and check out one of my favorite tunes, Angel. Also, Coldplay's new album comes out June 16. I can't wait!
