I walked by an older woman that was organizing books on a display stand.
She heard me coming.
"Oh what a joyous sound!"
She's right.
Flip flops, another summertime signal, a joyous sound.

Too funny - I wore my flip flops to the LIBRARY and was making so much noise! I was embarrassed, but then snapped out of it since flip-flopping is just a symbol of summer and people probably didn't notice anyway. I hope.
